This impressive curved house is a new build two-storey dwelling designed by BLA Architects on the site of a previous house. The site is sloping with stunning views down the valley to the lake.

Solid Structures were commissioned to design the building structure and below ground drainage. The ground floor is cut into the slope. A steel frame superstructure enables large areas of glass to the rear to gain the full benefit of the spectacular views. Walls comprise a mixture of traditional dry stone walling to the front and contemporary timber cladding and glass to the rear with first floor balconies.
