MasterSeries Awards Certification to Students at Queen's University, Belfast Graduation
Prior to their Graduation Ceremony and Annual Prizegiving event, we were honoured to be invited by Dr. Tony Martin of Queen's University Belfast to present MasterSeries Certificates to the recipients of our first ever Educational Competency and Proficiency Certifications.
The Certificates were presented to Civil and Structural Engineering students of QUB's School of Natural And Built Environment, at the David Keir Building Hub, Stranmillis.

What is MasterSeries Certification?
MasterSeries Certification courses allow Students to obtain Official Certification from MasterSeries, alongside their studies and endorsed by their Institution.
The MasterSeries Certification Scheme was developed to celebrate the launch of the MasterSeries 2023 Educational Licence for Educational Institutions. The Educational Licence provides qualifying schools and universities with Free and Unlimited usage for Students to all of MasterSeries analysis and design modules, for both educators and students alike.
Why Offer Certification?
Educators often struggle to keep up with structural engineering software due to their dual responsibilities of teaching and research, along with curriculum development and administrative duties. The rapid pace of software updates further complicates maintaining up-to-date proficiency amidst these demanding roles.
Designed by MasterSeries’ IStructE Chartered Engineers with experience in working in consultancies of various sizes, the MasterSeries Certification Scheme offers free, structured, up-to-date training from MasterSeries IStructE Chartered Engineers who not only have in-depth knowledge of the software, but have experience in its practical application in addressing real-world design situations within the workplace.
Who is eligible?
Students of an Educational Institution that has signed up for the MasterSeries Educational Licence.
When can Certification be Achieved?
Certification can be achieved by working through tutorials in both online workshops and study sessions at scheduled timeslots in collaboration with the school, which are organised and hosted by MasterSeries.
The sessions are designed to fit within and around the host school’s timetable. Each certificate requires a total investment of between 5 - 10 hours between workshops and online study sessions.
How is it obtained?
- Step 1: Educators of the relevant School or University must Apply for the MasterSeries Educational Suite for their University via the MasterSeries Educational Suite - Free Licence Request Form.
- Step 2: Once the Educational Suite form has been submitted, Certification application can be made via the MasterSeries Certification: Application Form for Students at Educational Institutions.
Both forms are available at Our Educational Suite Webpage.
