Seamless Steel Connection Design: Linking MasterSeries with IDEA StatiCa
We’re excited to introduce a powerful new feature that takes your steel connection design workflow to the next level:
MasterSeries now links seamlessly with IDEA StatiCa.
This new link enables you to export and continuously update your frames—including geometry, material properties, and analysis results—directly from MasterSeries into IDEA StatiCa for advanced connection design and checks.
This solution offers an alternative option for steel connection design. Our trusted and integrated MasterKey: Moment & Simple Connections Design module remains the most efficient and code-compliant solution for standard, everyday steel connection design. However, with this new IDEA StatiCa link, you can now analyse and design complex, non-standard steel connections directly in IDEA StatiCa—without the need to recreate models manually.
What You Can Do with the Integration
- Export selected members, load cases, and results from MasterFrame with just a few clicks
- Launch IDEA StatiCa Checkbot right from MasterSeries
- Import your design into IDEA StatiCa for steel connection design and optimisation
- Dive into complex connection design scenarios quickly and accurately
- Update your exported structure and results at any point in the process to reflect changes in your MasterFrame model
